I've always had compassion and motivation for people. My career started in direct care working with the elderly and Intensive care patients. When I moved from this occupation, I shifted into marketing and advertising where eventually I opened my own firm. I work directly with clients such as the Detroit Tigers, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. CJ Barrymore’s and various spas and golf courses. Through this experience, I learned how to become an expert in communication and training. After getting married I moved onto my second career with a master’s in clinical psychology with a specialization in applied behavior analysis. I have worked with Autism Systems since the first year they opened. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of children from 18 months to 21 years of age, verbal, nonverbal, challenging behaviors, eating disorders, and comorbid diagnosis that include, obsessive compulsive disorder, and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder. Our philosophy at Autism Systems has been compassion over compliance and we have always looked to have quality over quantity when it comes to therapy. What that meant for us is that if there is a child that had a need that we were going to try over very best to fill it. We have spent years taking our profits and providing for basic needs for our families that have disparity. This is the reason why we decided to open a nonprofit organization where the goal can be to fundraise for the families that are in need.
I am honored to serve the community as the Director of this board!
My name is Tyler Zobl. I was born and raised in St. Clair County, Michigan & I’m newly a resident of Grand Rapids. I have been in the ABA field since 2019, having worked as a technician and having functioned in many different administrative roles with Autism Systems. My experience in those roles have greatly shaped my understanding of the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, and the many ways in which the work we do impacts the lives of those we serve.
If I’m not sifting through e-mails, I’m probably playing video games, listening to music, or exploring the world with my loving partner, Xander.
I’m honored to serve on the board of this incredible foundation as Treasurer.
My name is Alaina Anderson. I live in Saginaw with my ‘two keep me on my toes’ toddlers Axle (3) and Jax (2), my husband, and two dogs. Being a mom has been one of the most fulfilling and draining tasks I have ever done, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have been in the field of ABA since 2014 and have been a BCBA since 2019 after obtaining my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I started working at Autism Systems shortly after becoming a BCBA. It has been a rewarding journey walking along side this company as it has developed and grown. I was able to assist in opening our Bridgeport and Saginaw locations. Over the last three years I have been working as Lead BCBA in the Saginaw region. In this role I am able to supervise and lead the most brilliant team of analysts.
I am excited to be serving on the Autism Systems Foundation as secretary.
Hello there! My name is Melissa Kemmer, and I am an analyst with Autism Systems at the Macomb location. I came to Autism Systems in July of 2023 and immediately loved the atmosphere, the values the company based their services around and the staff! I found this field in 2016 on a whim when a friend suggested I try it out because they thought my personality would fit great. I became a full-time behavior technician until September of 2018 and then began my master’s degree program until graduating in December of 2019 with my Master’s in Psychology with a Specialization in ABA! Making the decision to achieve a master’s degree in this field has been the most rewarding accomplishment of my life thus far!
Outside of work, I am married to a wonderful man named Matt and we get to love on 3 Pit Bull mix dogs named Miah, Mater and Maizey! All 3 of them keep us on our toes the moment we walk in the door! We are an active family that loves to get out and enjoy the scenes of Michigan but also can be perfectly happy chilling on the couch watching football or a funny movie!
I am honored to serve on this foundation board and be able to be an active member of continuing to serve the community, not just in my local area but families all over Michigan! I thank you for being here and for your donation to the Autism Systems Foundation!
